Headset was on, mic was not on mute (at the headset end), mic volume was not on mute in the computer (and when I clicked mute on and off via sound settings, the headset mute notification light turned on and off properly). After resetting, and upgrading, and RE-re-doing my settings in Mumble, it still wasn't detecting my mic. Logged in to use Mumble and I could hear but nobody could hear me. Mic was working fine as of the time I started downloading windows 10 24 hours ago. I wasn't having the trouble of the whole thing shutting off (completely). This was even when they were fully charged. Mic is unusable and headphones aren't much better.īackground: Have been using the G930 with Win7圆4 with no MAJOR problems, but a few times an hour, it would lose the wireless connection and power off for 1 to 5 seconds/power back on. PC Specs and peripherals (all listed in case something is causing the problem): I saw someone had turned 2.4ghz off, and this solved their problem. My wireless router is putting a 5ghz and 2.4ghz signal out. I'm going to contact Logitech directly, but if anyone can give any reason as to why this may be happening that would be wonderful. It does still happen when I don't use the microphone, but it is more common when I am.Īny help is appreciated. It could be tied to when I'm using the microphone because I notice it happen more then. I know someone mentioned that it may be only with Intel cpus, which may be the case. I don't know if it's anything with my computer or if it's the drivers. These solutions work for a while, but then it stars the disconnecting behavior. I've tried multiple versions of LGS, even a version from 2011. I haven't tried it on any other computers, but I don't have another to test it on. Or it might do it once then not do it again for a couple of hours or the next day. When it does it'll do it multiple times within a couple of minutes. It can go for hours with no problems, then start disconnecting every few minutes. This did not solve my problem, and the headset disconnects at random intervals, not every 15 minutes. I have seen some people where they say it happens every 15 minutes roughly, and solved this by editing the manifest to not disconnect after 15 minutes. ** Then I went into the computer settings for which programs start up during the computer startup, and I removed Logitech Gaming Software from the startup programs.I am having the issue where the G930 disconnects randomly. Then I could assign actions to the buttons in both Logitech Gaming Software and in G hub. The I installed Logitech Gaming Software. Then I couln't assign macros / assign the buttons. Keep the headset plugged then restart your computer."Īlso, ** Don't run Logitech Gaming Software and G hub at the same time** There you have a checkbox then choose to delete driver software. Look for the headset right click on it then select properties then go to driver tab and select uninstall device (advanced). Save file as "lgs_english.reg", (.reg is important) Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 "languageid"="ENU" "Locale"="en-US" "Language"="ENU" If you download Logitech Gaming Software right now, it may be in Japanese, and be called Logicool Gaming Software (USB transmitter should still be in computer)ĥ) Go to C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\FWUpdate\G933ħ) Switch off G933, remove usb cable, insert battery, power on headset * If your G933 won't turn on / won't start / won't power on: *ģ) Insert USB cable into computer and G933. The magic is that since the usb transmitter is in the computer, you can still use the G933 microphone (just select G933 as input device). I believe Windows 10 has something similar called "Sonic" or something. Go to properties of the sound device, then enhancements. On Windows 7 its called "Virtual Surround". Luckily, Windows has a built in surround simulation of its own. The downside is that you lose the 7.1 surround, which is supposed to be the big selling point, but Logitechs sound processing for the G933 is just too bad. That way, the sound is not going through Logishits trash processing, and instead you get the pure sound from the drivers in the headphones, and it turns out that they sound pretty good. > on the computer, go to sound settings, under playback devices, and select the output you would select if you were plugging physical speakers into your computer, and set them as the default output. Take a minijack cable and stick one end in the computer speaker/headphone output and the other end in the usb wireless transmitter. The usb wireless transmitter has a mini-jack aux input. They litteraly sound like you're inside a trash can. I'm sound guy (I mix music) and let me tell you once and for all: the logitech G933 sound like an actual trash can.
